AAARRGGHHHH.....

Lemes aahhhh....
every single one of my dear  team lose ...
one by one,
first        :  South Korea lose 1-2 to Uruguay
second   :  USA lose 1-2 to Ghana (at the same day, imagine my emotions)
third       :  Japan lose 5-3 to Paraguay by penalty kick (this is the best match)

The Drama in every single match ... all of them involved very emotional of mixed feeling ... that's football, it can make you joy, laugh, cry, sad, happy, .... shout, yell, scream, angry, mad ... all those mixed feelings and mixed expressions ....

but from all of the games in the this big 16th round,
these three teams made their best fight till the end ..
only difference 1 goal with the winner , and all the goals has been very meaningful.

South Korea --- goal by Lee Chung Young
USA             --- goal by Landon Donovan
and Japan      --- ungoal by Komano (i think he is the most stressed person in the world now, becoz it clearly he was the only person who didn't goal, poor him.  i have to admit that he's been playing very good and doing his part very good in that field for the 120 minutes -- the luck factor is not in him yet) ... the penalty goals by Honda, Hasube (the captain team), Endo have done their kicks successfully
before the last penalty kick by Paraguay

the sadness & cry of the team after the missing shots
Hopefully these teams will be much better in the next FIFA World Cup or other international episodes with players who are ready and become much better in techniques, skills, mentally, and experiences by times.

so even though they lose, but they still can lift their heads high enough, unlike some teams who lose with rather an embarrassment.

Winter in Tokyo

another good novel by Ilana Tan

sejak sebelum aku hilang ingatan aku sudah menyukaimu.  Ketika aku tidak mengingat apa-apa, aku kembali jatuh cinta padamu........  Jadi, ya, aku akan tetap mengatakan hal yang sama walaupun seandainya ingatanku belum kembali.

a nice touching story, even better than Summer in Seoul,
i got into deep with the character of  Ishida Keiko and  Nizimura Kazuto...
lines by lines, i can go inside these two persons ..

the story itself is like the regular love story novel,
Keiko has a new neighbor who just move in to the apartment building,
this new neighbor, Kazuto is an artist (photographer and painters) from New York, who come to Tokyo looking for a fresher mood, because the girl he liked in NY wanted to get married with his best friend...

The story flow like usual, how these two get acquainted in their every day life,
who would have thought that something in the past actually linked the two together, even though just a slight moment, but the particular past moment had planted Keiko's mind to her first love ...

too bad, something happened with Kazuto after he just started to have a glance of his past with Keiko, before he ever had the time to mention it to Keiko ...
the story gets better after this bad incidents .....

now i know Ilana's styles of writings,
she always put one little nice touch
and as before, she has the whole explanation of the most important clue
way in the last chapter ...
i was already feeling a bit suspicious when she put that words once or twice from the beginning toward the middle, then that's the answer ....

whether in books, film, or tv series, i actually don't like it when amnesia is involved,
however, in Winter in Tokyo, i think the story gets better in this part ..
i go deeply in Keiko's character in this part, but at the same times i love how Kazuto character becomes, while he got amnesia...

anyway, i love every chapter  of this novel ...
been reading it over and over again and haven't get bored with it yet...
especially love to re-read at some touching parts ....

Congrat to Japan

Yes!!!
Very excited & happy,
at least now the world can not say the asian football team are underdog team anymore.
they have proven with great achievement...

2 Asia teams pass to the big 16th ...
Go Asia, make us proud...

Japan beat Denmark 3-1
Keisuke Honda is great team player,

and the other significant key player of course is Eiji Kawashima is great goalkeeper...
without his capability holding all shots, it would've been nothing

Congratulation to Japan...

time for me to sleep now...

Games to the Big 16th

As in the Group A,  Uruguay and Mexico already passed this round...

Playing at 01.30am wib:

Global tv aired South Korea vs Nigeria
RCTI aired Argentine vs Greece.

(i believe it's 03.30 am Seoul time, and everybody still watched this very important game)   ... the koreans are watching the game together somewhere in seoul...

In group B, Argentine, unquestionable & no doubt be the first winner of Group B.
My favorite team, South Korea, thank God even though they played draw 2-2 versus Nigeria,
South Korea is in the Runner Up and also pass to the Big 16th...
if not mistaken, this is the Highest Achievement for South Korea in the FIFA World Cup,
playing outside their country based.  Good for Them and Keep it Up!

South Korea Government has already announced The Prize for every single person in the team,
for the achievement in the big 16th is:
Cash Money: 170 million won or US $ 143,000 or Rp 1.5 M (1.5 billion Rupiah) ...
well, oh, well, great reward for this achievement...

If they played like yesterday, with high spirit and good techniques,
I really hope and wish South Korea will go on to the next round...
One step at a time ... Fighting!!! ... Victory!!!

By the way, yesterday at the South Korea vs Nigeria game,
I saw The BEST PERFECT GOAL via  free kick shot by Park Chu Young.
The Kick was perfect, very accurate , even though Park Chu Young (he is on the right picture) was not in the straight line with the Gate...
and I say this not becoz it was from South Korea team, but it is truly the best kick...
The football commentator also said it several times over and over again...
he said as if it is already measured its accuracy when the ball has to shift several degrees in order to get inside... wow...

Anyway, South Korea as the runner up will play against Uruguay the first winner of Group A,
Uruguay in this FIFA World Cup 2010 has played well in their third games...
Go USA!

I would very much eager to see South Korea will pass to the Big 8..
wouldn't it be something if Asia Team can go to Big 8 in the World Cup...

Victory Korea! (support song by Super Junior for Korea world cup football team)

1 more Asia team which is Japan will have its chance tomorrow, i think..
hopefully Japan too can pass to the Big 16th...
Japan, Gambatte!!!  Semangat !!!

Tonight, a very close call for USA team...
USA almost doesn't make it , good thing, at the very last minute, at the 91 minutes,
Donovan (on the bottom pict - no 10)  score 1 goal ... that makes the US team be the first winner of the Group...
Go USA!

"All the Reds" slogan

this time for FIFA World Cup 2010,
the team which represent us from Asia are:
South Korea, Japan,
and there is also North Korea...

my personal hope is that South Korea and hopefully Japan
can go ahead

the year 2010, South Korea choose the slogan:
ALL THE REDS

Here is the pictures of the slogan.
Seen in the pictures, some Korean actors like Bae Yong Joon, Son Ye Jin, Song Yun Ah, etc are also promoting the campaign..

Korean football team

btw, Bae Yong Joon takes part in the "All the Reds" campaign for the Korean national football

this year going to FIFA World Cup 2010,
it wasn't an easy journey at all for the Korean football team,
they had to really struggle, lost the games several times ,
and if not mistaken, they almost didn't pass the pre qualifications / Qualifying Round

but here they are, they made it to the World Cup 2010,
something to be praised for,
i am happy for them as well,

the first opening game they played against Greece at June 12th 2010,
and thankfully they won the game by 2-0

just few hours passed by,
they have to play against Argentine,
well, it was a hard game, lost the game by 1-4 -
total shock to me ~ not to mention dissappointment
even though i know that most probability of Argentine win is about 80%,
i gave 20% chance for korean becoz hoping for miracle, hehehe,,,

don't know what was wrong,
but i didn't see the enthusiasm and spirit from them since the beginning of the game,
as i saw the fast interesting game played by Korean at the other day against Greece
do they feel low self esteem against one of the favorite n top team ..
don't know, i guess they are now in the deepest regret as well...

i am not an expert in football,
but i was disappointed in how they spread out too widely during the whole game,
leaving so many open n empty spaces and inviting the enemy to come inside too easily,

good thing after Haquin shoot 3 goals in the match,
Diego Maradona, the argentine coach decided to put him on the base,
otherwise i couldn't imagine how many goals more he will create..

still love them and wish them luck for their next match against Nigeria,
which is also has a very good Goalkeeper, and have good defense...
i was hoping for a SERIES Game between Greece vs Nigeria,
so that it will open up better position for South Korea,
but i guess it didn't happen, Greece won 2-1,
so the status for Korea and Greece are even 3 points.

so next game, Korea has to win against Nigeria ,
not just winning but they have to have good scores differences,
and better hope Greece doesn't score against Argentine on their game..
so there would be an opportunity to go the the next round...

Go South Korea, the Asian tiger team, Go Red Devils team
Go Make Asia proud...

Summer in Seoul

by Ilana Tan

Recommended by friend,  akhirnya terbeli jugalah buku ini,,
dr serial ini, aku beli 2 buku dulu ...
"Summer in Seoul" dan "Winter in Tokyo"

Not too surprising of course why i pick Summer in Seoul first,
concerning how i love korea, very much not too connected, hehehe, but oh well ...

storylinenya simple tp ga terlalu simple juga,
krn ada bbrp plot menarik yg ada di luar yg aku pikirkan,
Dab begitu baca first chapter,
i just instantly hooked into the story,
seolah ga mau terlepas dari buku ini,
buat penasaran pengen cepet2 tau endingnya,
sampai akhirnya secara nonstop baca terus,
till the ending...

it's about two people - a korean actor named Jung Tae Woo and  Sandy/Soon Hee, an Indonesian-Korean girl... both live in Seoul, Korea. Kisah terjadi di Korea, tp ada juga plot yg membawa kita terbang balik ke Jakarta. Ga perlu lah ditulis lagi ringkasan cerita ini, krn jadi ga seru akhirnya.

concerning it's about Korean,
i was concerned about how it's going to end,
would it end happily or sad ending ...

for people who used to watch K-dramas,
the story itself is somewhat like the typical k-dramas,
while reading, i keep my imagination of whose actor/ress most likely starred Jung Tae Woo and Soon Hee (blasteran indonesia - korea), and that what keeps me interested...
---  in the midle, mengikuti cerita bahkan tokoh artis yg aku bayangin ini sampai berubah becoz of the character ..

back to storyline, it's romantic n moving,
yet just like the regular korean dramas, the romance is very limited, yet can be felt through my heart...
in other words,
sebenernya gak terlalu ada scene romantis antara kedua orang ini di crita ,
tapi keromantisan itu bisa dirasakan dalem banget di hati...

so typical of korean story,
dibuat deg2an apakah ada hal2 jelek yg menimpa salah 1 dari kedua tokoh ini,,,
well, i guess have to read it to find out...

overall, i love it... i love how Ilina Tan put the answer of my question not right away, but she put the answer somewhere in the back...
Am about ready to read it one more time, this time i would love to read it word by word ...

I Specially love how the author put the STory behind Number 9
in the mobilephone, it's quite touching...

"...................   dalam baseball ada 9 pemain, kurang satu saja tidak bisa.  Sembilan artinya lengkap. ......  Itu karena kalau dia ada, aku baru merasa benar, merasa lengkap.  Dia nomor sembilanku."

And now i am listening to "Confession by Kangta"

One more Season is waiting :  "Winter in Tokyo" by the same author, Ilana Tan

Natashia 16th birthday

never thought that she is already grown,
she is 16 years old this June 9th...

she celebrated it with some of her good friends from her school,
at Kopi Mas, a restaurant near here in the area..
hope she had fun with her friends,
i didn't bother to come along,
after all it's her personal time

the afternoon time,
it's her time with us
nothing luxurious, just went to Mal Kelapa Gading
and eat..

after she gets confused of what to eat,
then i supposed her choices was just the regular korean dishes
at Dae Jang Geum , SOGO, food hall

we also ordered some sushi to eat along with the korean dishes,
everything was delicious...
to close it up, since i got Rp 100,000,- gift certificates from Haagen Daz,
we used it...

walking around, and she asked to buy some books at Gramedia,
while we were there, i came to remember that 4 series of Iliana Tan's novel
that some friends had recommended them to me,
i was going to buy all 4 of them,
but i wasn't too sure whether i liked it or not,
so at first i bought 2 :  Summer in Seoul, and Winter in Tokyo

came home at night, my brother and his wife delivered a birthday cake,
so time for the birthday girl to blow up candles, pray & make wishes, and cut birthday cakes.

1 hari lagi

kemarin malam, terpaksa minum obat malam2,

but it's okay ...
as long as everything goes on smoothly
from the beginning till the end and afterwards
Pimpin dan Sertai kami semua, Tuhan
aku yakin semua nya pasti lancar,
beri juga crowd yang melimpah
pada esok hari

Victory & Glory!
