One is truly afraid, shock, shaked and probably traumatized - it's a matter of life and death situation and his life is in danger - it truly shows how trembled he is - sitting down while praying in that little room - his tears continues to fall down without stop - thinking of the family, the wife, his little kid at home - maybe reviewing back of what he did wrong to deserve this kind of treatment

Some others who already know about it - just pretend that they didn't see anything

Some others sympathize , empathize but remains still - cannot do anything 

The Last Big Group of people watch closely what would the Few people do for the matter - in other words, the Last Big Group of people wanna see what kind of justice that they will see ...

But when The Decision Comes Out ~ 

it's like Boom !!!

The Hunger Games

Watched this movie saturday ~ Thrilling Adventure ~ Quite Cruel infact : the idea of collecting people to fight one another to find Only 1 Winner from 24 participants ~ ckckckck ~ Can I say it's a Killing Game that's Legalized and Official ~ 

It doesn's stop there ~ Guess what : This Cruel Killing Game are actually made to be easily watched from big screen from many people all over ~ The Socialite and the Rich bet on who would be the Only Survival ~ Some other people cheers and love to watch the games ~ Some people have to watch because their families are in the games, they watch while praying and hoping that their family who is there in the Hunger Game will not die and can return to their family.


I was quite surprised and impressed to see all the high technology they used to create the challenges for the games ~ they made the replica of the challenges and can just put it in the middle of 'participants' battle field'.  So, this is a real Killing Game.

About the character in the story itself, there are actually only 2 persons who out-stand the others (at least from this episode) : Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark. 
The whole situation of the games itself becomes constructed as if they are making a drama set, sadly to say, but in order to Survive and Comes Out Alive and get the benefits and attention from the sponsors, they have to do that ~ I'm very sure that for Peeta, Love is Truly in the Air between him and Katniss, but I'm not so sure the same feeling goes to Katniss.
Til now, i'm still gray whether Katniss' cares and attentions to Peeta at the Games is her true feelings, or is she just doing it because of she follows mr. H's suggestion to make people and sponsors love her, she has to do that accordingly.

It doesn't matter though ~ The Movie is Good and Very Entertaining

Birthday 42 years

One can never Be too Much Sentimental at One's Birthday ,  not exception , I always feel all Sentimental especially at night when all I have is my own quite time to make some peace and flashing back of all I've done so far.

Bellamore (a Beautiful Love to Remember)

TWO THUMBS UP lah pokoknya untuk Bellamore.  Beautifully written,  never thought simple story can be this good.   Baca berulang-ulang,  dari awal, dari tengah, kadang hanya beberapa section,  Our Emotions is mixed -- Emosi kita dibawa untuk tercampur aduk  – sesaat jengkel, sesaat marah,  dan lebih banyak Sad Feelings, Romantic Mood.

Direkomendasikan oleh Julia bbrp waktu lalu, dan pd saat itu masih ada keraguan whether or not I will like this novel, since most of the books I read have something to do with Korea. 

It is written by Karla M. Nashar

Cerita dari Bellamore ini sebenernya quite simple aja .. ttg seorang perempuan muda dengan prinsip tegasnya untuk mempertahankan virginitinya sampai dengan pernikahan.  She is Lanavera (beautiful name), yang mana digambarkan oleh Karla M. Nashar, author dari buku ini, sebagai cewek yang pintar, cantik, sexy – apa ada perempuan muda yang dari luar bisa dibilang cukup sempurna seperti dia (entah dipikiran gw siapa ya yang tepat untuk potray seorang Lanavera …  seperti siapa perempuan ini, if I have to pick one person for example). 

Bellamore : a Beautiful Love to Remember – Yes, Yes, it’s Very Beautiful Indeed.

Pertama-tama baca buku ini cukup kaget n rather shock , mungkin karena bahasa dan conversation yang lugas dan apa adanya. Conversationnya lebih dewasa. Ini terjadi mungkin karena so far buku2 yang pernah terbaca sebelumnya bahasa-bahasanya lebih halus.   Tapi di pertengahan buku, romantismenya baru sangat terasa, dan sebenarnya gak kalah halus dan indah seperti buku2 lainnya.

Banyak kata-kata indah, romantisme yang tulus, pengorbanan,  reality check…. Sighs ….. memang buku ini pantas untuk kita menarik nafas panjang ….  

What’s my opinion about the three characters inside this book.  It seems that I am so much in love with those three.   

Lanavera :  like my opinion above, this woman is perfect,  sapa yang gak jatuh cinta dengan cewek spt ini, i think anybody would love her, not just men (maybe) ... 

Fabian Ferdinandi:  hhmm… Fabian, the Italiano is Manly and handsome.     

What I mean MANLY in full meanings : positive and negative aspects of MANLY) …  Secara positif : Manly --sudah pasti tentunya secara cowo Italia, classic face and mesmerizing,  yahhh,, gambaran cowok yang macho dan mempesona.    

Dan Manly di satu aspek lain menggambarkan sisi Fabian yang secara normal adalah … well, he is a man, dengan segala kebutuhan sex-nya dan penilaian fisik terhadap seorang perempuan. 

And it is showed not only at the beginning when all that virginity and sex matters appears, but somewhere almost 2/3 toward the end, he is still portrayed as a normal man who has sexual needs …..  

Satu character that I personally like from him, that he never pretends – gak pernah ada kepura-puraan atau kemunafikan – that shows what it takes for him as a man – when he likes it, he shows it – and also when he doesn’t like it, he shows it.  

Pembicaraan dengan Julia februari lalu,  Karla bahkan sempet share at her blog , ada pembahasan kira2 seperti apa tampangnya si handsome Italiano ini.  Eventhough not too close with my imagination of Fabian , but I guess Karla’s imagination of Fabian is good enough.  My imagination of Fabian is actually stronger in Latin.

Danny (additional character if I may say so, because it appears almost at the end, but the story would not be completed without the existence of Danny) :  Danny, kalau opini aku, tokoh ini adalah sama seperti Lanavera, Perfecto tetapi di gender yang berbeda.  Danny, seorang pria yang mestinya sih quite handsome juga, pria Indonesia, smart (tersirat dalam posisi dia di office), tampil dengan segala character Danny yang caring, loving, very understanding, and other good characters a man could possibly have…  Come to think of it, I love him more than anybody else. I love that Karla, the author add Danny, although Danny is not the same at all as Fabian.

Kalau dari sisi cerita sendiri, di pertengahan begitu terlihat bahwa Fabian mulai menghindar dari Lanavera, yahhh,, mungkin termakan banyak cerita drama Korea, jadi mulai agak mengerti bagaimana kisah2 selanjutnya dari kedua orang ini…    Bagaimanapun, apa yang Lanavera dan Fabian alami jauh lebih dalam, intense, dan juga painful setelah mereka justru ‘berjauhan’ …

My New Addictions

Been so long never talk about food & beverage. For sure, this topic is much better tasted than talked or written about. 

Recently (maybe the beginning of 2012) became my new addictions.  Let's forget about diet for a while.

One place is Tous Les Jours (a franchised Korean bakery and coffee shop - with the advertised famous K-actor : Won Bin) and another one is Chatime (franchised tea place -- like the past Taiwan bubble tea kiosks that were popular maybe around 6 to 7 years ago here in Jakarta , and unfortunately slowly went down in years - not very sure this Chatime is franchised from which country - Maybe Taiwan?).

These two place happen to be in MKG (Mal Kelapa Gading), so every time going there we for sure never absent from stopping by at these two favorite places.

maybe Chatime sounds like the regular taiwanese bubble tea we know from some times ago, but there are certain distinct special tea taste that make Chatime differs from the other similiar tea shops.  My favorite is the regular milktea ; I usually order the Chatime Roasted Milk Tea with Grass Jelly.  The Tea itself tasted very special, aroma of the tea very strong, and the milk tasted very fresh, especially the Grass Jelly (cincau nya bener-bener enak, kenyal, bedalah pokoknya) ...

what makes ChaTime more special is that we can order as we like ; the amount of sugar and ice that we like.  That's why Chatime become my favorite drinks so far.  

My regular order is ChaTime Roasted Milk Tea with Grass Jelly, less ice, and 30% sugar. 

I tried the Pearl, and the pearl also taste far better than the regular pearl /  bubble from others.
anyway,  so far I think ChaTime is pretty specific and special in term of taste either the tea, milk, the grassjelly.

Be patient of Waiting because everytime i go there the Queuing always quite long enough.  

this French named Bakery is actually more popular in South Korea (at least that's what I know, because it appears many times in Korean drama).  The bakery and coffee shop itself has green color for its logo.

I always amaze of how Korea government goes into our world starting from their K-pops and K-dramas and goes further away and further more into what we know as Korean wave or Hallyu.  South Korea applies best strategy for people start and looking more deeper into its countries.  

Like I said, seems like whatever comes with the embel-embel Korean (let's say ; many Korean language courses, many novels/books with Korean background/story/name, tour & travel to S. Korea, stationaries, we can name some more and more),  it already half-success via its name.  And so far (as far as my knowledge) what comes out with something Korean, it doesn't disappoint me.

Anyway, this bakery as the name 'Tous Les Jours' started to be written down when the store renovated, my daughter and I already get excited, not that we know the taste of the products already, because obviously we've never tasted this bakery before, but because the name already famous and we eagerly wanted to taste them.

Tous Les Jours has many varieties of croissants / pastries, sweet breads, cakes, specialized in fresh cream (i think).  The cakes looks soo delicious and yummy, the softness of fresh cream.  For anybody likes yogurt, Tous Les Jours have Yogurtcake which taste great.  

My favorite items to buy in here:  the Wheat Bread (Roti tawar Gandum) -- taste very nice, not like my regular wheat bread -- their wheat bread not just made by one kind of grains, but 4 kinds of grains, this wheat bread loaf is very selling, that sometimes i have to wait half to one hour to get this bread if it's already out of stock... anyway, i always buy 2 loaf for our 1 week breakfast menu.

besides the wheat bread loaf, there are also red-bean, cream cheese bread, which my kids love soo much ..  Sourdough bread filled with walnuts and raisins is another fave of mine...   actually I personally love their filled croissants, but I have to limit myself on this pastry because I know for the fact how bad croissants for our health.

from watching Transporter Jason Statham, I become curious of how madeleine taste like , and i can find it here also, although the price of that small madeleine is quite high compare to the tiny size of the bread/cake itself. 

Besides the bread, Tous Les Jours also served varieties of coffees, taste almost the same as the other coffee specialty.  Try the Green Tea Frappe - taste soo good and fresh, usually from some tasting of Green Tea Milk Drinks never taste okay for my palate, this one taste great.  You will get a Stamped Card with Wonbin's face which said 'Wonbin's Choice' on it .

I noticed Tous Les Jours in MKG (Gading) have many Koreans customers also. The management who brought Tous Les Jours here to Jakarta is by CJ group (a Korean group which is according to my boss, one of Samsung group also)

btw, for location if we are far from the north or east, can go to Senayan City and find these two shops over-there also.

SeoulMate by Lia Indra Adriana

ceritanya unik, kenapa aku bilang unik krn baru sekali baca novel tentang hantu (kalau cerita vampir mungkin udah lebih familiar di telinga kita -- as we are familiar with the Twilight series)  ~  novel ini mengisahkan kehidupan hantu dan hubungannya dengan manusia (kelihatannya hantu2 yang disini adalah hantu2 yang belum terpanggil ke dunia yang lebih dalam, whatever itu)  ~

Lia Indra, si author dari Seoulmate ini, kok bisa2nya menceritakan kehidupan hantu2 seolah hantu2 ini sama sekali gak menakutkan, gak ada efek serem, yah, pokoknya baca novel ini kok yang tergambar di otak kita adalah hantu2 ini manusiawi sekali sifatnya, bisa marah, bisa iri, bisa uring2an, termasuk bisa jatuh cinta, bisa cemburu antara sesama hantu dan juga jatuh cinta dan cemburu ke manusia   ... apalagi dia menggambarkan bahwa antara hantu (Soul) dan manusia (Mate) bisa mempunyai hubungan yang khusus terutama saling membantu dalam mengerjakan tugas2 yang diminta oleh manusia2 lain yang minta tolong dunia hantu untuk sesuatu yang menguntungkan diri manusia ... 

konsep hantu sebagai SOUL dan manusia pendamping (yang mempunyai indra penglihatan hantu2, bakat khususlah ibaratnya) sebagai MATE menjadikan mereka berdua ini harus berpasangan sebagai  SOULMATE

SOUL + MATE = SOULMATE

Seperti layaknya konsep SOULMATE yang kita pahami, sama juga dengan cerita disini ~ jadi antara manusia dan hantu yang ditunjuk harus menjadi soulmate supaya tugas2 yang harus dikerjakan dapat berhasil dengan sukses.  Untuk menjadi Soulmate secara otomatis, mereka berdua harus saling memahami satu sama lain, saling bisa merasakan satu sama lain, dll. 

Aku sendiri gak pernah baca cerita seperti ini, makanya di bab2 awal Seoulmate ini jadi ga terlalu menarik, bahkan setiap kali baru bbrp lembar baca stop baca, sambung lagi, stop baca lagi ... dan setiap putus baca, sehingga harus ngulangi lagi baca dari bbrp lembar sebelumnya ...  tapi setelah beberapa bab, lumayan lah ceritanya menjadi cukup seru ...  

Klimaksnya mungkin pada waktu mencapai ke point dimana setelah Kim Sun (si cewek yg jadi tokoh utama) tau tentang asal usul si Soulmatenya yaitu hantu Jang (hantu yang amnesia gak tau asal usulnya) berujung pada dilema Kim Sun untuk membuat keputusan apa yang harus dia lakukan ...

Dilema Kim Sun sempet buat Penasaran juga apa yang akan dilakukan. Kisah setelah Kim Sun buat keputusan tentang Jang ini juga bagus karena membuat kita bertanya2 lagi ttg endingnya.

Personally, aku suka dengan Lia Indra Adriana ini yang sangat konsistent membawa konsep SOULMATE dari pertama sampai ke akhir cerita (yang mana endingnya gak mungkin diceritain disini ya) 

Coba liat Bookcovernya Seoulmate yang cukup menarik :

Kim Sun (cewek tokoh utama) ini digambarkan seorang perempuan yang gampang marah, kasar (dalam bahasa maupun tindak tanduk) .. dan Jang (si hantu amnesia) malah keliatan jauh lebih manis dan cute (pertama liat gambar hantu Jang yg pake baju item ber-kerudung/hood dia keliatan seperti perempuan juga)... sungguh perpaduan soulmate yang gak cocok banget kalau lihat hanya dari gambar diatas (my personal opinion)...  Yang melayang2 di atas sana pakai hanbok adalah tokoh hantu yang sudah berumur 100 tahun lebih tapi punya tubuh muda namanya Arang. Arang ini juga hantu yang cukup menarik.

Books Shopping @ Gramedia

Hasil belanja buku di Gramedia hari Sabtu lalu cukup oke, walaupun perburuan masih gak maksimal, karena kita sampe di mal sudah malam,  karena parkir MKG seperti bisa ditebak 'tanggal muda di MKG, parkiran sampe muter bawah, atas, bawah lagi, baru dapet... perjuangan banget cari parkir'............

Akhirnya bookshopping jadi gak maksimal, karena terburu2, plus Gramedianya penuh kayak apa gak tau deh, terutama rak2 atau floor display yang ada signagenya 'Discount 38%', 'Discount 40%' , dan 'Discount 25%',,, sayang ada banyak buku juga yang rusak di floor display karena orang 'buang kesana kemari' ... 

I, myself, bought several books ; ada boxsetnya Ilana Tan yang Four Season -- sebetulnya agak sayang beli boxset ini, tapi liat boxset ini dengan harga discount jadi sekitar Rp 103 ribu, yah I didn't think twice, I grabbed this boxset for collection ... afterall, since my daughter lend these 4 seasons book to almost every friend, i don't feel comfortable to actually touching those books ... keliatan sudah kumel, dekil, dan pinggirannya banyak yang kelipet sana sini ,,, siggh,,, entah gimana cara mereka baca buku ........

Selain boxset Ilana Tan, ada juga boxset Darlene Shan, belum pernah denger mengenai buku ini sebelumnya tapi baca keterangannya keliatannya cukup menarik.  Books about human half vampire ... Dan beberapa buku novel ringan lainnya bertemakan Korea ... satu buku biografi ? 'from the city of apple to the big apple - belum dibaca sih, tapi penasaran dari judulnya , kisah seorang indonesia yang berhasil dari kota malang menjadi direktur di kota new york .. sangat menarik ....

Actually in mind before going, I was going to buy the book by Merry Riana, and it was on disc 25%, but then looking at it for several times, I changed my mind ... I don't feel like something serious for quite sometimes near this time...

Ada satu buku lagi yang masih penasaran dari bbrp waktu yang lalu ; buku yg judulnya : Please Look After My Mom, karangan seorang penulis Korea Shin Kyung Sook ... bbrp bulan lalu pernah dengar di radio (siaran KBS radio) bahwa buku ini cukup terkenal di America, sempet lupa untuk bbrp saat, dan ternyata bbrp minggu lalu lihat lagi mengenai buku ini lebih jelas di salah satu koran dan yang lebih bagus lagi adalah sudah diterbitkan versi bahasa indonesia ... jadilah buku ini lebih menarik lagi untuk dibaca.... i was looking on the computer in the Gramedia, it was written there is 0 available, and to make sure i asked one of the employee, but i guessed there is none in Gramedia Gading.... Sayang sekali, padahal buku ini juga discount 25% ... that's really too bad ...

anyway, eventhough not get the maximum benefit of the discount, I came home happily, especially since I only paid very cheap for all the books I got there ... it's all thanks to Gramedia and BCA credit card (my poin reward also deduct almost 100rb of the totals)... such a Great Bargain ...  especially for mommy who has little children, there are many interesting boxset available in 38% or 40% discount , nice ...

maybe i will put up the picts of all the books bought sometimes later on ...

Sering-sering ada discount semacam ini sangatlah menguntungkan buat orang yang gemar membaca....

Since maybe a year ago (?) since i read the glimpse from the back of the cover, wasn't too interested to buy, because i thought it sounded something like another cliche Cinderella drama story (Cinderella, Upik Abu, yahh, cerita2 spt itu deh yg terbayang di pikiran waktu baca sinopsis di belakang buku )  where the Prince (in this case, 2 Prince)  fall in love with a buttler's daughter-- ... but then once i started to read it, i can't put the book down ... 

very nice story, maybe one of a kind that has unpredictable story lines (not just unpredictable endings) ... reading it, chapter by chapter, i keep guessing how the story would go, but always turn out different ... how smart Orizuka is ...

it's about the Jang family (to be more specific both sons of the Jangs, a korean indo family) and their lifes after the rich and wealthy father Jang Dae Gwan died and leave a weird 'inheritance letter'.  In addition to these two brothers of Jang, there is also Adena, the daughter of the Head Buttler of the Jang family.

interesting story about how Orizuka used the FATE among these three people.  Like i said, it's not one of our everyday Fate between  the rich, the poor and the regular fate, but it's much more complicated especially toward the middle to the end, one by one history or 'secret' is being revealed.

What I love about this book :

• Romance ~ Chemistry and its surrounding is not the only main thing 
• Feel the Deep Focus on Family ~ Friendship ~ Commitment and the varieties of it
• the character of Jang Dae Gwan , which is portrayed such as very wise , nice gentleman, one of a kind obviously in this world, although his character is questionable at the beginning.

One comment about this novel :

Beware of too many Korean phrases being put in here. 

Reading this novel feels like learning Korean, which is for me with the insertion of  Korean full sentences in almost every page make somewhat a distraction , because i have to keep peeping at the footnotes, and distract the mood.  Although in a way, it's probably the best way to improve your Korean phrases.

this particular book adds to my favorite novel list ...  LOVE IT 

EATing Habit

i don't realize how hard it is to change the eating habit until lately ...

especially when it comes to lunch treat from clients or friends ... aissshhhh ...

somebody pay for my food and i don't eat well ... hiks hiks hiks ... cruel 

i am now thinking whether or not i am already going overboard with the health stuffs  ~ but Health is important ~ hhmmm  ~ let me put it this way ~ Our Health being is not just important but the main thing  ...

so there i go with the Food Diet and Exercise ...

Exercise at least 3 to 4 hours intensive swimming and 2 hours intensive fitness or 2 hours walking -- that's the average exercise i do in one week  ... which right now, i already get used to it and doesn't feel emotionally as it is a big hurdle anymore .

Basic rules that i try to follow :

White Flour is bad for you ~ instead pick WHEAT

White Rice is bad for you ~ instead eat Brown or Wild RICE (sorry, this one i particularly cannot change yet, although i already did decrease the consumption of white rice .. survival still!!)

Everything Grilled ~ Very Less Fried Food ..

Unsweetened Fruit Juice

Yes for Yoghurt , 

No for Ice Cream, Chocolate (ho ho ho, my heavenly food)

that's just short list , the list of course is getting longer if i want to do it very right, but i think doing the above is already quite enough to make me pusing of what to eat ..

so far, even though nobody is praising but i am quite proud of myself ,
because i can pretty much stick to the diet:

let's say if we go to a Coffee place (Starbucks or The Coffee Bean or JCo Coffee) :

usually i would order : ICE Blended Hazelnut or Cookies Cream or Iced Creamy Cappuccino but lately i choose ICed Coffee plain or Iced Coffee Latte unsweetened .

for the snack : Cakes esp Avocado Double Choc Cake or Quiche something used to be my favorite items for Coffee accompaniment  but lately Wheat Muffin would be my choice 

Ice Cream : well for now no for Haagen Daaz or Baskin Robins ,, and go to JCool or Heavenly Blush instead for the Frozen Yogurt with fresh fruit topping , no canned fruit topping .. 

I am very crazy for bread , any kind of bread ... even though i lived in America for some years, the country where 'wheat is major bread we can find' , but eating wheat bread can never be a habit for me ... but this time, i am strict to eat wheat bread for the replacement of the more flavorful white bread ... And this is Really Hard ... Hard because the problem isn't just the Replacement of White to Wheat but what to spread along the wheat bread is also homework to think about ..... 

Eat the right breakfast, 

Forget about my favourable Nasi Uduk , Nasi Kuning ...

Eat half portion of carb especially white rice with anything grilled or cah vegie ...

My favorite Tahu Goreng akhirnya sekarang harus berganti menu ke Tahu cah vegetable ...
Sea fish Grilled (ikan laut bakar) twice a week  ...

Vegetable Soup with chicken broth becomes another almost regular lunch menu ... 

So, Yes, a Whole Life Time Eating Habit (i say 40 years habit can be categorized as Lifetime habit, right) cannot be changed in just one or two months, and it does need Some Extra Commitment to Change them into a Better Healthy Eating Habit ... Survival ..  Penuh Perjuangan ...

New Novel by Ilana Tan

aahhh,,, after maybe ..hhmmm....  almost a year after Spring in London, another novel by Ilana Tan is now available ... "Sunshine Becomes You"  .. the cover is pretty, soft pink or is it more pinkish violet color .. really nice,, feeling romance or love truly is in the air, and is it coincidence a Valentine's month  .. thanks to Jul who give me the updated info about her new novel

I finished cramping it for 2 nights, yesterday until 2 am ... unfortunately i got it sunday late at night, so it didn't give me the weekend time to finish reading it one day straight  .. I want to write something about the novel, but considering it's a Brand New Release Novel, i don't think it's fair for the writer, if  I write about the story ... as it's hard to write without telling even a tit bit of the story ...

hopefully, i can comment something without giving too much spoiler ...

it's a beautifully written novel by her, another melting my heart book (i have to emphasize Melting but not quite enough to make me cry like in Autumn in Paris) , where now i can see that she also getting more and more detail and softness in her writing ... of course, recommended, as i always love her books ... from the Summer in Seoul Summer in Seoul ,  Autumn In Paris,   Winter in Tokyo , and  Spring in London (never comment about this London part,,hhmm, how come). 

Even though i think the story can go the other way,  but i respect Ilana decision .. 

I love the names in this novel : Alex Hirano , Mia Clark .. Alex Hirano and Ray Hirano, si kakak beradik ini ... i imagine they are handsome enough, Ray secara body mungkin lebih gagah tapi pecicilan (in a positive way, maksudnya lebih lincah)  karena unsur dia penari b-boy, compared with Alex yang pianist ... just my imagination from reading the characters of the two brothers ....

Trying to imagine how nice the song  "Sunshine Becomes You" is  ,, 

i can just picture it in my ears, it maybe be something like a song by Kevin Kern, who is also a pianist whom I knew because of  my fave K-drama   .. I imagine this "Sunshine Becomes You" song would be something like "Sundial Dreams" by Kevin Kern ... very beautiful song i was introduced by "Winter Sonata" Bae Yong Joon Korean Drama ...
i bought the cd years ago .. maybe onetime i will put the link of the song here, if i can find it somewhere..
Funny thing with me is that i sometimes just mix-match a song with story, even though it's not related like an OST,,, i should stop doing it later ...

Amazingly, this is the first time I don't fall in love instantly with the Male Star : Alex Hirano , usually every time I read or watch, I tend to lean on the male star right away ... that's not the feeling i get here ... for quite sometimes, I don't truly like Alex, even though I know he is portrayed as a guy who basically looks cold outside but in actual very warm-heated ...  

ooo, one more little thing ...  biasanya Ilana suka menggambarkan keindahan kota lokasi di novel2 terdahulunya (especially for Summer in Seoul, Autumn in Paris, and Spring in London)  tapi kali ini gak banyak atau bahkan gak ada sesuatu yang menggambarkan New York ...it's okay though as she focus more on the pianist and the dancer ...

My Valentine Expression ?

Waking Up ~ of course feeling good about everything and everyone

Since yesterday night, was thinking about someone I admired much from some years back.

Don't know what was i thinking this morning, but i grab my cell phone, and send an sms ... SENT ...  just something i want to do , i don't particularly care if  probably his number already used by someone else or if it is not his number anymore, or if  he absolutely don't know me. 

Come to my surprise, two hours later there is a reply and saying something like :

"You make me flattered,  how can you call a 55 years old man still look handsomely nice. Very Blushed,  Definitely my big smile of the day.  Happy Valentine Day to you.  Jesus bless always.. " .. a minute later  "oh, i am special because you are special."

Startled looking at the unexpected reply  ...  HAPPY for sure, Either it's really him who reply or somebody else, I surely don't need to know more.  

To this very day,  I still Idolize him  soo much and still somewhat followed his update from everywhere  ...  I ever wished that can always hear his speech, enlightenment, and inspiring words and actions.  Good Great Memory of some years back where i could get the opportunity of knowing  him closer  from my position at the previous place.  Always wish him well and healthy.

at the office, I remember this very Valentine moment last year, Kim Brian, a young gospel singer from south korea, had shared his beautiful love story of how him and his wife got introduced one another and be together by God.

Again don't know what was i thinking, I look for his twitter, then change my mind and find his facebook instead and drop few lines.  Of course i choose writing my message in the facebook rather in twitter because i can write more freely without the limitation words of the twitter.
Happy that he reply, a simple thank you words, show enough that he pay attentions to his fans.

Beautiful Day for me,,, although when thinking about it again, gosh, i feel bizarre of my own act, i don't know what got into me today, probably just feel like expressing something i had in my mind to persons i like .... Amazingly, complementing to someone, it does makes me feel good too ...

Some people all over the world tend to make a Big Fuss of this Day, and surely I do too, hoho

and really not feeling ashamed doing it.

Sunday, in the very little time I had because I have friends from Malaysia came to Jkt,  the kids and I made time to do a little Valentine's shopping, helped picking out a choco gift for my son's girlfriend.  Hope she liked the chocolate, and voila, at this Valentine's Day, my son also get chocolate gift from her. 

So it's more like exchanging chocolate, hehe... 

Girls, these days, are definitely much nicer ... I remember in students days, Girls are just supposed to seat and smile nicely to receive gifts... well,  the young generations certainly changes.

Coming Back Home from work,  feel surprised because house looks very clean and tidy.  Seems like my son does little change or re-arrange the living room  ... and it does actually looks much nicer and tidier. 

Another surprise by my daughter ... 

she hands out an arrangement of  pink roses ... 

soo sweet .... didn't expect it...beautiful two pink roses.

Went to the dining room,  and turn out  there are nice dinner  ...  kids said grandma sending dinner for us...  I sometimes wonder whether i would do the same caring and love to my children when they grow older ... Loving you always, Mom.

Not to mention how interesting it is to be able to see that A Mom Looks as Young as the Son,

I guess there are only 4 things that I always open or click ...  can't even think of another one ...
Youtube, maybe sometimes, but since opening to youtube takes much the quota limits, i open and browse youtube only in particular needs.

Facebook is number 1 for me, maybe for most people, they twit more often. I don't put status as often as some years ago when first time get acquaintance with Facebook, but Facebook still gets most priority updates, as it is simple, just write everything i want, don't have to think twice of how to put it in the shorter sentences (like Twitters).  The way we upload photo and everything else is so much 'neater and nicer' than twitter. (but then again, twitter is not so much for photo, etc.)

And the more we like Facebook, the richer Mark Zuckerberg is. 

Btw,  He looks better in person than the movie 

Yahoo is open both at night and in the office (mostly opened at daytime, eventhough i also have office email) not just for the emails but also for the Yahoo news (sometimes i can giggle or laugh or even mad from the types of news they put in the yahoo news (moreover the comments,, it's been forever now that i never read the comments in all the yahoo news, because then I get stunned of what types of people there are based on their comments).

Blog -- most of the times just leave it open, but not knowing what to write on it. 

Twitter -- this is new link to open. I twit every now and then only,  do more of the Retweeted rather than making my own tweets... once in a while I tweet to give some word or two to few people / artists i like, some answer, some don't, but it's okay even if they don't reply , although i appreciate those who reply ... 

Come to think of it , I am grateful for TWITTERS, because twitters makes the Far Distance between Artists (world wide) and the ordinary people like us become Closer. 

One thing why i sometimes still care to tweet is so that it Looks Nicer in my Blog since there is a link between my blogspot and twitters,,, hehehe,, such a ridiculous reason ...

Malem ini bersyukur karena seseorang mengorbankan roti bakarnya, mungkin makan malemnya
Setangkap roti bakar ini ternyata memberikan kekuatan untuk bertahan dari kantor sampai ke rumah

membuat getar kaki berkurang

Baru terasa di daerah yang sunyi senyap, gelap gulita, jauh dari jualan makanan setelah jam 18.00 pm
Uangpun kurang terasa kegunaannya, karena gak adanya restoran atau warung makanan atau gerobak makanan satupun yang ada di sekitar daerah ini, di malam hari seperti ini ...

The Imlek Day @ Ancol

Baca di koran kalo di Ancol ada Dragon Boat Parade, pergilah kita sekeluarga sama mama juga ke Ancol, yah pikir2 ketimbang bosen juga dari kapan ke kapan ke mal melulu .. kebetulan untuk Sincia (Imlek) kali ini karena kita sudah pergi ke tempat bokap di bsd, jadi pas sincia-nya kita ga ada jadwal harus kemana lagi.

so there we go, no plan on going anywhere in Ancol besides seeing the parade ... 

The Chinese New Year Celebration at Ancol started with the several Barongsai show with the Liong -- barongsai yang ada di tengah-tengah danau ancol (terkenal dengan bebek2an) -- bbrp show barongsai, setelah itu bbrp direktur Ancol sama bbrp pejabat invitation mengadakan acara pelepasan Dragon Boat Parade from that spot berjalan ke arah timur , menuju ke pantai timur Ereveld dan terus lagi sampai perbatasan menuju bbrp ratus meter sebelum Dermaga Ancol.  

Acara sempet ngaret karena mereka menunggu2 pejabat2 invitation yang pada telat datengnya. (from plan 1pm to 3pm, ckckck). Pertama kita sempet bolak balik mondar mandir, krn waktu mendapatkan informasi, ga ada yang kasih info lengkap, barulah ketemu seseorang yang mampu ngejelasin dari awal sampai rute dan finishing line, barulah kita jelas dan langsung menuju ke lokasi pertama.  Ampun2 juga jalan kaki dari parkiran pantai timur (kira2 depan rest AW) menuju ke danau bebek2an , jalan lagi ke sepanjang pantai timur, then finding out harus balik lagi ke danau... hehehe...  dengan sebentar mau hujan, trus terang lagi, hujan rintik sebentar, going back to the sunny bright... cuaca yang ga stabil banget ... 

Ga foto2 , krn sangat kecewa dengan what i see about the dragon boat parade there compared with my assumption what is dragon boat parade supposed to be like... totally disappointed, with the event barongsai and Liong show yang cukup ok, ada bbrp tv like sctv and rcti yang ngeshoot ... the dragon boat hanya perahu2 kecil (maybe total 5) dengan bbrp pendayung didalamnya, ujung depan dikasi kepala naga, dan belakang kapal dikasih dekor buntut naga .... hhhmmm.....gak bangetlah,  so different version from eyes and mind,, hehehe ....(untunglah, Jul n my brother's fam didn't go,,otherwise i feel bad)   I had it in my mind that Dragon Boat Parade is something like what I watched maybe 20 years ago in Hongkong ... the parade full of quite big boat with Dragon and some lamps decorations ... lol,,, i really can laugh all day long because of this,,, o, well ... that's why feeling ill-feel bout these, i put my camera from the start in my bag ...

Anyway, since we are in Ancol, might as well enjoy the atmosphere ...  setelah keliling, pertama berpikir mau makan di Mercure Hotel (my son said food not too good), Segarra (again both my children said food is just so-so),  so we decided to eat at 'Bandar Jakarta' karena kita belum pernah masuk kesana, setiap kali mau masuk selalu full of people... this time also full, but we decided to wait,,, doesn't take too much time to sit and wait to get a table .... 

The atmosphere of 'Bandar Jakarta' is very nice, we happen to get the table outside, very windy, although the area covered with some kind of canopy.  Nice place, simple table and chairs, not a lot of decorations, and imagine ALL PEOPLE FROM ALL NATIONS EAT THERE ... ckckckck .. this place is no need of promotion, you can see lots of Indonesian (of course), Malay, Chinese, Caucasian, Middle East, yep yep, almost every nations eat there. How nice to have this kind of crowd resto.

Eating at Bandar Jakarta is another new experiment for us, since from getting a table, getting served to buy the fish and the seafood, get our food, are a process of waiting at every step ... but it's all worth it when we get our food on our table ... we ordered :  Grilled baronang fish (ikan baronang bakar), Fried Prawn with Black pepper sauce (udang jerebung saos lada hitam), Kerang Dara saos singapore, side dish kangkung cah, tahu, and with each drink Kelapa Muda dari batok ... Yummy, Yummy, Yummy ... 

My mom is rather afraid of the cholesterol from all these seafood and wanted to eat the regular anti-choles, so did she asked me to eat the anti-choles  but I insisted that she didn't have to take it if  we don't feel headache... I remember one Japanese friend once told me that if we eat fresh seafood directly from taken the sea, we don't need to afraid that it will cause the sudden cholesterol raise up... And I proved it several times when eating with him , so did this day.

A day isn't complete without a stop at Mal -- again! hehe ... we took a stop at MKG,  Yes! have to admit that  we are more 'Mal' people .. especially MKG is our family's 'second home' maybe ... place where we already feel very comfortable at ... 

@MKG :  get a chance finally to watch the 'Spheric Emotions' -- some kind of dance performed in a giant ball ... the dancers are from Europe (i guess it maybe from eastern Europe) -- was quite nice dance performance , although it's not too long -- i suppose this kind of dance cannot be too long anyway, because who can stand breathing inside of those closed ball for too long ... my daughter wanted to take picts with the dancers -- the picts turn out very nice. ...

I think next time going to Ancol, we stick on the regular place like Dufan, Seaworld, etc. ...
